Channel Mechanics is delighted to announce a new appointment to our team, as we welcome Roisin Rowsome to the position of Marketing Associate.
A native of Limerick, Roisin moved to Galway in 2018 to study a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Galway. While studying in college, Roisin worked part-time as a front desk receptionist in a medical practice where she learnt the importance of excellent customer service. During her final year of studying commerce, Roisin discovered her passion for marketing and decided to specialize in marketing.
Upon graduating with an undergraduate degree in 2021, Roisin went on to complete a MSc in Marketing Practice at University of Galway, graduating in 2022. As part of her Masters, she worked as a Marketing, Communications, and Storytelling Intern with the multinational software company SAP. This role enabled Roisin to work with various teams in multiple locations worldwide. She gained vast experience in areas such as content creation, website creation and management, campaigns, and email marketing. Roisin loves collaborating with others to create engaging marketing material. During her internship she developed skills including digital marketing, emotional intelligence, and teamwork.
Roisin is passionate about travel and enjoys experiencing new cultures. Following the completion of her master’s degree, Roisin travelled to Bali, Indonesia where she lived for a short period before beginning her role with Channel Mechanics. Outside of work Roisin loves being active, having competed in Gaelic football and horse riding throughout her school years. She also enjoys kayaking and hiking in her free time.
