Channel Mechanics

Liam Kilcline, Head of Customer Success

Channel Mechanics is delighted to announce the appointment of Liam Kilcline as our new Head of Customer Success.

Having initially joined the team in January 2020 as a Quality Assurance Associate, Liam brings immense levels of innovation and is a highly valued team member. For these reasons, we are delighted to see him progress his career to this management position.

Having studied at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), Liam graduated in 2016 with a B.A. in Irish and Geography. Upon graduating, Liam knew he wanted to travel, before establishing himself in a more prominent career. As such, he made the decision to relocate to South-East Asia to explore the continent for what he thought would be six months.

However, after the initial six months, Liam made the decision to stay in Hanoi, Vietnam to live and experience local life. During his time in Vietnam, he gained his TEFL qualification. After that he commenced teaching English as a foreign language in secondary level schools. This gave him the ability to travel throughout Asia during his time off. In December 2019, Liam returned to Ireland and shoftly afterwards joined Channel Mechanics.

As a Quality Assurance Associate, Liam focused on helping to ensure the integrity of our channel automation software experience for our users. He also worked closely with our Customer Success Team and showed an outstanding aptitude for a more client facing role. In January 2021, Liam progressed to the role of a Customer Success Manager. Here, he showed exceptional promise and continued to show an exemplary commitment to his role having developed the onboarding process for new customer accounts.

Speaking about this new promotion, Liam commented:

“I’m really excited to step into this new role as Head of Customer Success in Channel Mechanics. Customer Success plays a pivotal role within the Channel Mechanics ethos. It has always been one of the company’s key strengths. I’m looking forward to working with the ever-growing, energetic & motivated Customer Success team here at Channel Mechanics”

Liam Kilcline

Outside of work, Liam loves hurling and all things G.A.A. In fact, he plays for his local team, St. Dominics. On top of this, he is passionate about writing and playing music and formed the band Yes We See with one of his close friends from home.
